Touristic stay

Pontivy, a charming town of the centre of Brittany offers various sites to visit at a distance between 10 and 50 km.

Since 1396, the town of Pontivy is the political, legal and military capital of the fiefdom of Rohan.
As a bastion of the Republic during the Revolution, from 1789 to 1799, Pontivy is remarked by Napoleon Bonaparte, for its exceptional situation at the heart of Brittany, "between the two seas".
For those who love castles, after the one of Pontivy of the 15th century, the road of the Dukes of Brittany will take you to Josselin (34 km), and then to the castle of Les Forges des Salles (18th century) near the lake of Guerlédan (40 ha) at 20 km.
Near the Gulf of Morbihan, the islands of Brittany will offer you a complete change of scenery at 1, 2 or 3 hours by boat.
